Does Open Brain Coral ( Lobophyllia ) need feeding.. ?

I have just recently bought a Lobophyllia and i was wondering if it needed direct feeding. I haven`t seen its sweeper tentacles yet, but if i do see them should i feed it.. ? :sfish: :sfish:

They dont need to be fed, but you see the feeder tentacles come out then you can feed it.

I have never fed mine directly but I do put a few drops of microvore in when I feed about once or twice a week and turn off the skimmer for about an hour. My corals all seem pretty happy.

I am a girl

I had a few that would extend feeding tentacles at night, and some that would never extend them. I would feed the ones that were hungry.

I've never had to direct feed mine. It seems to always sense when I'm feeding and put out its tentacles when it feels like :D

Mine ate well. Some corals will grow faster if you feed them.
