also, do clownfish eat hair algae?

I have also noticed about 10 times tonight that my one clownfish is eating the green hair algae. I thought that they didn't do this, is this normal? Here are some pics of the tank and the hair algae.

I don't think so, he took a little clump that was attached to a sand pebble and ate it off the pebble and then spit the pebble out, lol. I could be wrong though, I am going to keep observing.
 
Keep an eye out for little orange/red eggs. My laying pair keep a certain spot in my tank spotless. Im not saying that yours will be breeding but it might happen.
