My Fish

Well, we've had a few deaths that were unexplained. I even had LFS test my water to make sure and he said it was perfect. My only guess is one died and rotted causing a spike in ammonia that cleared up quickly. But here are some newbies.

I caution you about adding that many fish at once, especially if you have just had a bout of unexplained deaths. Even in a perfectly healthy tank you need to wait around 3 weeks for the bioload to catch up to the new fish. By adding that many at once you are likely to see a mini cycle because there isnt enough bacteria to convert all the waste to less toxic chemicals.

No no god no. haha thanks for the concern though. Do you know what the first one is called? Its shovels rocks and dumps them out the bottom of his body.
