I just got a few new fish and felt like sharing.

that cleaner wrasse,I am not sure if others have more luck, but are extremely
hard to keep in a tank.. great when there is cleaning to be done but hard to get to eat...
 
Yea I've heard, But the cleaner shrimp are more expensive so I figured 'd give it a shot. Plus it's more active in the tank, better to watch.
 
yeah I know I loved the ones I had too... had neither too long though..
couldnt get either to take to food.... :grumble:
so bit the bullet bought 2 cleaner shrimp.. had them a year ea. now...
 
the shrimp?? he picks up about anything I throw in

wrasse is picky.. feeder shrimp, brine...i tried several kinds of seafoods...
think they just hated me :frustrat:
 
Those cleaner wrasses are obligate parasite eaters, so they only do well in huge systems with many fish that they can clean. They just starve to death in out systems.
