I have JBJ 28 gallon upgraded 186 watt HQI tank- 2.5 years old- my problem is that my corals all have become overgrown and are attacking each other. I am starting a new tank with an old 14 gallon biocube and a new LED setup to thin out by JBJ but in the meantime my frogspawn appears to have damaged my tongue coral- about a 1/3 of the coral is retracted to show its grooves- no bleaching, color is abit off, the rest of the coral still extends its tentacles although not too robustly and its center mouth appears to be gaping. I have moved it away from the frogspawn and my inclination is just to leave it be so it can recover. Other option is to dremmel off damaged piece however without definitive death off that piece I am reluctant. See enclosed pic
