Lighting for 15 gallon reef

Hi, i was wondering what your opinions would be on lighting for my 15 gallon Long tank. i plan on possibly having soft corals, mushrooms, polyps, inverts and fish. 15# live rock and took 10 gallons to fill. 24" Approximately 9.5 inches from surface of water to sand bed.

Opinions would be helpful and links would be even more help.

Get a nice set of T5s. The 24" Nova Extreme Pros would allow you to keep anything you wanted.

You will want one with 4 bulbs, not 2.

If all you want is soft corals,polyps and mushrooms then the 2 bulb version of what Biff linked to is enough.If you want to be unlimited then go with a T5 w/ 4 bulbs.

Ecoxotic now also have a line of LED 'stunner' strips that include blue/white combos and are very powerful.

They come with several mounting options and are about 12.5 inches long and inexpensive!

Omega,those stunner LEDs are just accent lights.Not the right type of LEDS to sustain or grow corals.

Correct - I'm assuming those would be in addition to the lighting that appears in the pictures from his first post.

If you're looking for replacement lighting then the T5s would suffice or something along the lines of: Aquarium Lighting & LED Lights: ecoxotic Panorama LED Module

Yah thanks. i ended up buying a T5HO nova extreme 4 lamp. 24" . i will post pics once i get in on the tank. i get it wednesday, but i have finals this week so hopefully i will be able to get it on right away.
