Ok I was on here yesterday and I had looked at a thread that was this thing to get rid of algae and it had this pipe going across the top with mesh hooked to it and the water flowed down it and the algae grew on that ?? I can not find it now... I also had looked it up on You tube and I can't find it on there??? I thought it was called a algae scraper?? but maybe I'm wrong? can you help me I'd like to make one

ok I'm not sure if I understand this, do you hook it up from your overflow?? like this. and then a person should still us a skimmer right ???
