help with hammerhead

I need to split my hammer, can someone help me?

A band saw would be ideal. But if you have a dremel tool it will work. Just make sure that you cut exactly between the two heads of hammer. You could also use an old knive (sharp with no rust) and cut the hammer skeleton.

It should slit naturally(mine split into four in ?a little less than 3 years?)

Ssaltys on the right track.Just make sure you cut low enough not to cut any of the fleshy part.

There is living tissue an inch(or more) or so below the head.You'll need to split it where there is a definite split between the heads and there is no living flesh.I see flesh below the crown in your pic but can't see further down,it's possible that it isn't ready to be cut yet.

I use bone cutter pliers sold as fragging tools online.It's very similar to wire cutters.
