i wont argue that point but some it helps and some it doesnt its where in this hobby what works for one may or may not work for another

one more thing i see if you look at mine you see baffle #3 is rally short because i found it makes les turbulence in the refugium section and make baffle #4 shorter then #1 witch will give better flow

and the LFS is replacing the bulbs so im waiting till i get both of them he had one and had to order another witch should be here friday

if you have a break in period mine was skimming within 24 hrs.

i use seachem's reef fusion if i need to dose i just had drop in alk about a 2 weeks ago so i had to dose part 2 of it cuz i am getting really good coraline growth right now and the acro's seem to like the alk up around 11 DKH but for the most part the water changes seem to keep up but i dont...

im sure he had them for awhile i hope he will replace them
