FOODS AND FEEDING - Feed live, frozen, flake marine fare for carnivores, omnivores, and herbivores. Feed a minimum of 2 times a day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Large specimens may eat smaller crustaceans otherwise an excellent reef fish.
CAPTIVE CARE - Will eat some algae, a beautiful fish as a juvenile, loosing most of its dazzling color as the fish matures, juveniles are aggressive and should not be kept in a docile community tank, only one juvenile or adult should be kept in a tank, adults will become more aggressive as they mature, keep with larger, aggressive fishes.
