white pvc?

I have read on using pvc to raise rocks off the bottem of the tank and saw to use gray(80)....is it okay to use white? I bought some white already cut that will work perfect if that can be used..please respond..live rock will be here in one day!

It's perfectly fine to use the white. Most people use the schedule 80 pipe only because it's less noticeable in the tank.

Eventually though, the white will get covered by coraline growth anyways. The Schedule 40 ( white pipe) will be less expensive then the schedule 80 (grey pipe)
