can anyone tell me what this is. i think i have added a pic but prob screwed up.

looks like anthelia to me...which is totally harmless and actually quite nice once it grows a patch... but it grows like a weed.

haha its a pretty good filter feeder though so its more beneficial then not.

I agree,looks like an anthelia or possible clove polyp.

It's definitely not a pest anemone so reef safe.

i'v had a look at some images and agree it looks like all of them. they are very small at the moment but you can see on the rock that they are all conected by what looks like small veins. also i saw my emerald ripping loads off , he was having a right good old time i thought they left things like that well alone?

Emeralds should leave them alone in most cases.You think they could be starving.Maybe try giving them some seaweed sheets.

Small veins?Then definitely anthelia or clove polyps then.

the crabs are definitely not starving thats for sure. I think he may have some issues. the only thing he has not waved his claws at is the pistol shrimp.
