What fish to get?

At present I only have three fish (excluding my inverts), a blue green reef chromis, a pajama cardinal and Mandarin Dragonette. I want a Purple Firefish but I've heard they tend to stay hidden in the rock for months. Because I only have 30g I need to stay away from agressive fish.

I think purple firefish are actually pretty outgoing, active fish. I've not heard of them being hiders. They are usually found out in the open, in the same spot all the time. If they are scared, they'll retreat into the rocks really quickly.

My orange fire fish were out all the time. Now my royal grama hid all the time and is just now starting to come out a little.

I have 2 red firefish and one is out all the time and one hides in the rocks.

I think a fire fish is a good idea.
