Weird Live Rock Activity

Reefing newb
Hey everyone I have a really weird thing happening...
my 20 litre (sorry I'm Australian) Nano tank crashed a few months ago :frustrat: and being determined I've started it up again, and purchased even more live rock than last time....

in the 3 weeks that it's been set up the water is all good, 4 starfish have come out of hiding, some corals are emerging on the rocks and everything is looking fantastic...:^:

2 days ago I noticed a large chunk of my live rock "breathe"... it appreared to inhale and then slowly exhale... on the end of this piece of "rock" are 2 little red flower like things that I thought were coral as they open and close as well..
I will upload a video of it when I get the chance

but some general ideas on what it could be would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

hmmm breathing rock, i bet thats not what you were thinking about when you got live rock :D

the breathing thing may be some sponge (hard to tell lol)
the little flowers may be feather dusters (good little filter feeders)

Some pics would help though

yeah I wasn't expecting some sort of monster rock lol...
I was figuring it would be a sponge... the red flower looking things don't appear to be feather dusters and they seem to be on the ends of bits that it can move...
either way it still looks creepy!

On the breathing live rock, I'd just about bet that it's a turkey wing clam.
The others, I wouldn't even guess without a picture.

Finally put a fish in my tank today..... He's so cool...
Need to add corals again after the crash but I'll eventually get around to it

As for my weird rock that "breathes" here's a pic....
It's got a red 'tube' that opens and closes.. It's just below the green algae

Are you able to take videos with your camera/phone? If so, a video of it actually "breathing" might be a big help to us too!
