water flow?

I would like to increase the flow in my 55 gallon tank. My horses really, really, love these new gorgs I got and I think they kind of like to hang on to the gorg and feel the water moving around them. That's kind of how they do it in nature, they hang on to weeds and stuff in the surf. My questions, how can I anchor these gorgs down so I can keep the water really moving around them? Should I glue their base to a hunk of rock and bury that in the sand? Will that stop them from absorbing nutrients? Also, what kind of wave makers are there that don't cost a gazillion dollars?

thanks,
c

Just use some lite fishing line to tie the gorgs to a small rock.Or you can kinda wedge them in between 2 rocks.Either way will work.

For flow, look at the new Koralias. They are supposed to be wave maker safe. Then all you really need is a couple of el cheapo timers from wal-mart.

I like the fishing line technique yote mentioned and even yours.Using glue to attach it to a small piece of rock and burying it in the sand.

The Koralia Evo are very affordable.
