Normally i wait a good 24hrs maybe longer for the salt to fully disolve, but then again i heat mine and give it lots of flow, so it may disolve quicker than if you werent doing that.

How big of a heater and powerhead do you use? In how big of a bucket? Thanks lil matty

I just use what I had laying around my house, a 20g rubbermaid container, 200w heater, and 300 gph PH.

ok. thats what i just purchased or started to get. and pretty much just put the water in the rubbermaid start the heater and powerhead then add the right amount of salt and check back in 24 hours.
