want more rock......

i have aboy almost 30pounds of live rock...i want to add alot more rock to my tank..but i dont have that much money to get live rock...can I add dry rock from my LFS...AND PUT MY LIVE ROCK ON TOP...WILL IT MEST UP MY CYCLE.....I WANT TO FILL IT UP ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP..:twocents::twocents::twocents:

Not at all, a lot of people use dry rock to fill there tank and save money at the same time

Maybe you can score some cheap live rock on craigslist or a local reef forum, however.

I think ill give craigslist a try too...from the place that i like were they have live rock...its like $8 lb...buy its nice...but im try some base rock...

Just hose it down to get rid of any debri. I got all my live rock for 3$ lbs or less just by searching around.

+1 BL1.........I was going to mention Marcorocks.com also. Thats where I bought all my dry rock from and it looks great. It covers up quick too with coraline and it looks really natural.
