upgraded my lighting.

I have 29 gallon rank and just bought a new light and glass top. i took the old school hood off. the light i got was a solar max ho twin t5 24w x 2 with 4 leds in it.. in the tank is 28 lbs of live rock and a fire shrimp, u clown fish a few hermits and a purple long fingered anemone. i was wondering how long i should keep the light on daily. the leds are always on. can anyone help?

Personally, I would consider seeing if I could take the nem back to the LFS. They require crazy lighting, and if it dies it could take the rest of the tank out with it...imo

other than that lighting about 8 hours to 10 hours a day.

What were your lights before? Two 24 watt T5 bulbs over a 29 gallon tank is not a lot of light at all -- maybe enough to keep low light corals, but even that is iffy.

You should keep the lights on for 8 to 12 hours a day.
