These hide in shades

I haven't cleaned the overflow cover for awhile. I open it up and found bunch of these white things in there. They are soft. I blow some water right on top of it and I can see a hole in the middle like anemone's mouth. The bottom is narrow and attached to the wall. I can easily suck it out using a turkey baster. What are these?

I see. I only found them behind the overflow cover. Should I just leave them there and put the cover back in pretend I've never seen them? :D

cool I found one of those this morning. Ya a good thing about dam time.

They're great for a tank. The population will grow a lot when your tank is new, and will usually grow small as the tank ages with good husbandry.

I actually found a ton of these things on the back of one of my rocks yesterday and meant to post in here. Couldn't find the wife's camera charger though and forgot about them.
Good to know they're helping. That's two sponges I've found growing in my tank now, awsome.
Finding unknown creatures is oddly satisfying :D, kind of scary too.

If you really want to see some odd critters.Spend some time looking around the tank after the lights are off.Just use a flashlight with a red bulb or lenses.:D Thats when it really gets fun.
