Strange Bubbles

What are these bubbles? I blasted them off with a turkey baster and they come back in 20 minutes. There were no bubbles when I first put them in the tank 6 or 7 weeks ago. Don't bacteria convert nitrates to nitrogen gas? I do not see any trace of bubble algae or cyano in this LR. The rock pieces you see in the pic are highly porous and calcareous white coral I found on the beach and cured myself. The other LR in my tank has few if any bubbles like these .

It looks like the beginning stages of bubble algae, but i am not 100% sure!

More likely its either air seeping out of the rock,or some algae thats producing oxygen bubbles.

That somewhat small rock could not seep air out that much for 6 weeks. Its been oozing bubbles for about a month but there are no signs of algae.

No other LR puts has bubbles like this and there is nothing putting air under it.
