Scooter blenny missing after tank transfer

Okay so we got a real stand for our tank and our scooter blenny was nowhere to be found in the emptying or refilling of tank>

Can anyone give me any ideas of where should I look? Would he be hidden in rock by chance? Or would he hide/bury himself in the sand bed?

I've know little fish to wedge themselves in rock crevices. In fact, I ended up buying a rock w/ mushrooms because the goby i wanted would not leave the rock for anything. Even after we took the rock out and put it in a container of water, he would not leave it. It was a day or so after putting him in the 10g tha he finally came out.
