sand and algae on LR

i was wondering if i could rinse the sand and white algae of my LR and it would be fine. my tank is fully cycled has fish iverts and corals. i have to remove some pieces to kill some aiptasia. :mad!!: using a lighter to get the suckers , I've tried everything else.

I think removing and rinsing the sand is going to be more issue that its worth, and removing the rocks as well.

White algae sounds like a sponge to me, harmless filter feeder. But if you dont like you can pick it off.

Also, i would suggest trying Aiptasia X, that will work much better than a lighter.
