refugium lighting

Now that I have my refugium set up I was wondering about the lighting. I read both leave the light on 24/7 or just turn them on at night. I am running a cfl at 6500k in my sump. I run my main tank lights white 8hrs, blue atinic 10hr, and led moon lights 24/7. Just wondered what other people do. I plan on getting some chetta algae.
