FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied vegetable diet, frozen and dried marine algae and spirulina. A growth of micro algae in the tank is a plus.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Some specimens have been known to nip at stony corals and clam mantles.
CAPTIVE CARE - This fish occurs in shallow reefs and tide pools, keep in well established tanks only, adequate lighting and micro algae growth are a must, may be bothered by predatory species, keep only one per tank unless a proven pair can be obtained.
