Snails, starfish, crabs and shrimp. A mix of different cleaners is the best way to go. Like Newb says, nassarius snails are awesome.

Any of the hermit crabs will scavenge a dead body...but I'm not a fan of hermit crabs.

Nassarius snails especially the bigger Tongan nassarius makes the best scavengers.

What everyone else said -- snails-hermits-starfish. Also Urchins are great at eating dead fish, not so good at snails I belive. They will also eat your coraline algae though. Also some people say they are not reef safe but its hit and miss. Im talking about the long spine black ones to be exact.
