Here's my dilemma... After a year of seeing no nitrates at all, they are now steadily rising. I am up to about 10. Frustrating after it reading zero for so long. I've been doing water changes weekly of 10%. The last two I did were 15%. I only have four fish in a 60 gallon tank and I really don't think I overfeed. I was feeding Rod's every evening and I have cut back to every other evening and switched to using mainly mysis that I can rinse before use. My skimmer has issues but Im used to them and can get it adjusted quickly. It pulls out quite a bit of nastiness, so I know it's working. I have sucked all of the crap out of the overflow twice this month, and cleaned all of the detritus out of my sump, blew out the rocks with a turkey baster. What am I missing??? For now I will up my water changes. Just wondering if anybody has any suggestions for me
