Pink spotted watchman goby

The LFS had just got this guy in today, he was with a tiger shrimp. I could not resist the pair.
He seems to be settling in nicely.

As always, I'm super nervous about adding a new fish. Please offer care advice for a bottom dweller like this.

They said he was a pink spot, but the spots don't look very "pink" to me.

Looks like a tomiyama to me.

Definitely not a pink spotted watchman (here's the pink spotted: Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Pink Spotted Watchman Goby -- the pink spots on these guys are bright and the stripes are very light in colored). Not really sure what you have there - I did a quick search on live aquaria and didn't find a match there. A quick search of google images on the tomiyama goby does indeed look like a pretty close match

Yea, that one is the closest ive seen. But his front top fin is shaped different and no where near as big as the tomiyamas. He is very little, perhaps as he grows it will become more appearent.

He is friends with the pistol shrimp. Although i have not seen the shrimp, theres a hole in the sand under one of my rocks, and i see bits of sand getting tossed out of it. The ? Goby cretainly stays around it.

I fed them tonight it looked like he took a few bites, cool little bugger.
