PH reader

Any idea how often I should recalibrate my digital PH reader?

I usually calibrate mine once a month.Probably dont need it that often,but it keeps me in the habit of doing it.

American Marine pinpoint...guess I should go get some calibration fluid tonight!

I'm going to hijack this thread. Instead of starting a new one. When you calibrate the PH probe on the reef keeper do you just stick it in the fluid and wait for the number to stabilize then do the next fluid and wait for that one to stabilize also? Also where should you place your probe in the tank or sump?

I waited for it to stabilize each time I adjusted it. I keep mine down by the middle of the tank where the fish hang out the most. I figure that's where I care most what the pH is.
