New RO/DI yes!

Got my RO/DI unit from Filter Direct today. Finally I can stop buying water from Walmart. It's makin water right now. I'm only getting around 33 gpd from it atm but I expect that will go up as it gets broken in.

On a side note. If your gonna spend 150 bucks on a water filter ya may wanna tell your wife.

If your water is running slowly, you may need to get a booster pump to increase your water pressure. RODI units don't get "broken in" like skimmers do -- it produces what it produces.

I'm not saying I disagree with you Sarah but I have the same RO/DI unit as VA. The first day it was kinda slow, I didn't keep track of gallons per day. The second day it did pick up a bit more, and on the third day it seemed to pick up a bit more then level off. My pressure guage reads 50psi and the unit can handle 80psi. I'm sure I could benefit from a booster pump.

In the winter time I can make 25 gallons in an 8 hr period.In the summer I can double that.Cold water really does slow down the whole process.

You'll not see full performance from an RO membrane until it has been in use for a day or two.
