New Coral, anyone know what it is?

I went into the LFS last week to pickup a bi-colour blenny, unfortunately they had to order one in, but I picked up this.

Didn't think to ask at the time what it was, I just liked the green in it (hasn't come out well in the photo).

Anyone here help? Since I got it a week ago the colour has gotten better and there are more bits that have opened up on the rock. It should look good amougst the red mushrooms when it gets going.

hard to see the colors, but they look like watermelon zoanthids.

Possibly neon green dragon eye zoas ..

Try to feed them a little piece of meat. If they curl up and swallow it - might be palythoas. Not many zoas will eat chunks of meat. I can't tell by looking at them, but the tentacles on the skirt do look a little long for zoas.

The polyps look big.

I'm leaning more to palythoas then zoanthids.

I will try and get better photos when the lights come on later today.

At the head they are about the size of a fingernail. When the lights go off they close up straight away.

If they are as big as a fingernail, then they do sound like palys.

Zoas for sure..what kind..couldnt tell ya but their easy..nice pick up..

And they are good looking zoanthids at that.:D
