My kids threw out the booklet that comes with the water testing kit. If any one can help with the nitrate ,ph amonia balances would be a great help.

I'm afraid I don't know how to help you. I'm sorry, but you need the colored cards to be able to read the test results.

Just buy another kit. You'll need it eventually anyway and you'll get the cards again with it.

well, the cards aren't attached to the booklet... did they simply throw out the instructions, or did the also get into the little cards with colored squares?

Yeah, unfortunately, you'll need the colored cards to compare your vial to. Without those, you won't be able to read your test accurately. If you are missing the instructions for your tests, as in, how to put the drops in and how many and such, we can help you with that.
