Need an ID please

I noticed a tiny one of these earlier this week. This one I just noticed right now. They're small little white puff balls, about the size of an eraser. On the ends of it there are these little polyp looking things coming out of it...looks like it filter feeds? I cannot get very close up pictures, but let me know if there is anything else I can do to help in ID. I'm assuming its a sponge or something. They are in different locations, at the top of my rock and on the bottom.

It's a scypha sponge, aka q-tip sponge. Reef safe filter feeders. No worries!

Not really -- they get to be about an inch long at the most.

I have those also. My wife said they look like snake spit. The only spit I knew came from a snake was bad so I just told her "ok" Nice to find its something good for a change.
