My best friend Dan is a hero!

I have a very hard time believing that a dog like that women had would just stand passively there as three little "piggies" attacked her, i feel like she might be over reacting. But we have a witness in your friend dan, so maybe it is like she said
 
I have a feeling that piggies "attacked" because she had the dog with her. They viewed the dog as a threat to their family. Even if she wasnt in any immediate harm, the 911 center should have sent out a patrol officer to help her out. Not just say "We dont respond to javalina calls"

I went through all 4 years of high school and I wrestled in Virginia!

Leesburg VA<3 It's in Loudoun county. Right next to Fairfax.
 
Javelina are mean,nasty little pigs.Their small size will fool you.Not to mention that they are as tough as they are mean.
That being said,I'd rather eat a medium rare skunk that a Javelina.:mrgreen: One smells about as bad as the other.
 
Next time our yard is full of Javelina, I'll give Danny boy a call. Maybe there's a business opportunity there? Dan's Javelina Removal Service.:lol:

Hahaha, he would love that. This guy is super smart -- he has a Master's in Optical Engineering and a Master's in Mechanical Engineering, and he's currently in school getting his PhD in Optical Physics. What are the chances he'd drop it all to become a full-time javelina hunter?
 
First of all, I've never even heard of a Javalina before this. I thought maybe your friend was a feminine javalin thrower or something. :lol:

LOL, I thought the same thing... But didn't want to be the one to say it. :(

I'm sure you guys have javelina in your neck of the woods. They are not actually a pig, they are a peccary. Pigs are from the "old world" and peccaries are their "new world" (North and South America) counterparts.

Yeah I only did it for a year, and it was just for fun...never made past the JV team, cuz the buy in my weight class was undefeated. But it was me and my friend who did it together all for kicks. She was tough, too! There was also another girl who wrestled in another county, and she actually had a few wins.

Yeah I know Loudon County :) I've lived in Northern VA for 25 years :)
