Loc Line

Who uses loclines and what is your opinion of them. Planned on using some wyes and straights on the closed loop.

i have a y lock-line on my 75 and like it better than a single one since i get better flow

I use them because they came with my tank.
They are ugly.But since you'll be using on a closed loop,they will allow you to point the flow where its needed.Plus the black will blend into the nooks and crannies of your rock work.So you wont notice them.

I use them. Another con: EXPENSIVE!!

Last night, I kept hearing this "clacking" sound coming from my tank. Couldn't figure out what it was. Finally I realized there was a snail stuck in the spout of my locline, wedged in there! As the water was rushing by him, he'd go clack clack clack. Got him out with a screwdriver.

Well I picked up three 3/4" Ys going to to go nozzleless. Picked up a bunch of other plumbing stuff but ran into a snag. Details to come in my chronicle.
