Light bulb question

I recently bought a biocube 14 for $100 with everything just need two bulbs. Was wondering what the difference between the bulbs were: actinic light and white light? Thanks Matthew

Actinic bulbs are a blue bulb, usually a 420 or 460. The whites are just that, a white bulb used as daylight. Normally about 6700K I believe on those cubes.

What would be recommend?

one of each. I'd look around for a better bulbs however. see if you can maybe find a bluer K rating on your daylight bulb.
