LED Lights Worthless?

Im trying to figure out if the light bars that came on my tank are good for anything at all?

They will be replaced soon anyway but im wondering if they need to go into the trash or if I can use these for sumps / scrubbers / feeder tanks etc...

There is very limited info on them and this is the closest thing I could fine to show what they are...

Anyone know anything about these?

It's had to know with LEDs. They (the manufactures) don't really give you much information on them usually. I would think it would be okay for low light corals or a refugium, but without testing it who knows. I would just try it and see what happens. :dunno:

They total 3.8 watts so basically they are only good for lighting a fish only tank. They don't produce enough light to grow any coral or even any algae.

+1 cCapt. Those appear to be the replacement for a standard flourecent bulb in a stock hood.
