Help identify

i found this corals reefing..they act like an anemone ..extending small filaments and grabs flakes to eat..it has a hard like rock exkeleton..any help thanks...

It's the leave-me-in-the-ocean coral

It's one thing to take things you know about - it's another thing to take what you have no idea about..

but onto your question - looks like it could be related to a type of brain coral

I have no idea... Never seen anything like it before. Like Ad, my best guess would be a brain of some sort.

My closest guess is a type of open brain.Maybe a Lobophyllia or Trachyphilla but with so many ridges,I'm leaning toward Lobo.Nice specimens with awesome color BTW.

I agree with ad looks like some kind of brain coral, but I can't say for sure.
