what would it be classified as?
polyps, lps, sps, soft coral.... i have no idea haha i could relate it to any of those

I guess it would technically be a soft coral, in with zoanthids and other polyps.

I agree. It is a softie. It does not make its own skeleton. It just grows like a mat over things.

hmm anyone every had adverse side effects from sps and gsp together? i know that softies can hinder sps growth and i have all my softied on the opposite side as my sps with my aggressive coral and lps in the middle. i wanted to put my gsp frag over on the sps side but i didnt know id it might cause an issue. any thoughts

GSP will be fine with SPS. You just have to make sure that you keep the GSP trimed back so it dont grow over your stonies.
