good shipping prices for corals?

I wasn't sure where I should post this thread. Sorry if in the wrong spot. Anyways, do you guys recommend any sites that have decent shipping prices? Overnight shipping is like 45$. Every site I've looked. I'm not looking to spend a fortune to get free shipping either. I want to get some corals that my lfs doesn't have but I don't wanna spend a ton of money. Always trying to save the extra buck ya know haha

i found a couple places that are about 35 bucks,plus the corals are about 10 to 30 bucks for some nice corals,i cant order any yet since i do not have the proper lighting yet

Where in NY are you? I have never ordrered livestock (we have almost everything I want locally) but Pacific East Aquaculture is in MD and they charge 16 for shipping to NY I believe. They come out to all the frag swaps here in NYC and have great stuff. hth

I'm about to order some fish from Aquarium Fish: Tropical Freshwater Fish and Saltwater Fish for Home Aquariums and that's the only place I buy my stuff from. Where in NY are you? We could buy our stuff together with stuff over $225 and get free shipping.

Also, check out the forum for NYC people call ManhattanRifts and there are lot of members trading/selling coral and stuff.

Guarda that sounds like a good deal. I live about 20 mins from Syracuse. Wes thanks for the offer but I don't think I'm going to get any corals for a few weeks yet. Still researching some things. I'll check out that forum though.

It's tough. Shipping is either really expensive, or you have to pay a lot to meet their minimum order requirements. It's because corals have to be shipped overnight, and that's not cheap. :(

Guarda I guess I'm not in the zone one shipping area so shipping is still 40 bucks. Hmm. I'll have to talk to my lfs..I think they can special order me corals. Not too sure.

I've ordered from ricordiausa.com before, and while the shipping is the same, their merchandise is cheap. They forgot a few things I ordered (but reimbursed me), but the prices were very tough to beat.

Have you looked on craigslist in your area? I always find awesome deals on there I refuse to pay for shipping. I either buy enough stuff to get it free or I dont get it at all.
