galaxea question

Does galaxea usually look deflated at night? Mine looks ok during the day, but at nit tends to recede and the little tentacles look flat like someone let the air out of them. Is this normal or is it sick? Any ideas?

They shouldn't recede all the way so that it's skeleton is showing but mine normally closes up a lot at night.

It sounds normal...their tentacles will deflate at night, like most lps corals.

yes mine does the same. when lights are on he is happy and flowing and when off for long times he shortens up.
