Floating red goup?

My little 10 gallon has red goo floating in it. I keep scooping it out but it's starting to really become a problem by sticking to my corals. What is this yuck and how to you get rid of it?

could you take a pic? i would prolly use less lighting more water flow and frequent water changes.

Cyano maybe.But the only time I've ever seen cyano on the water surface was when it filled with bubbles and broke loose from the mat.
