Finally getting a RO/DI

My birthday is next week and my hubby is getting me a RO/DI (he's so romantic!)

Is this what I want? What else will I need that isn't included? Thanks!

That looks like a nice unit. The only thing I notice is the DI cart looks like it's not a clear housing and may not be refillable. You should contact the seller and ask if the DI cart is refillable.
The only other thing you need is a TDS meter.

I wrote to the seller and found out that the DI is NOT refillable, I guess this is a bad thing? I like the price, is it better to have a 4 stage or 5 stage that is refillable?

just change out the di filter later for one that cam be refllied

yea you can go to pure water club and buy just the di canisters and the media that you can add to just about any system....

Well the DI resin doesn't last forever. So, your options are buy that 1 and in the near future look for a clear, refillable housing and replacement resin....or, buy a different unit that already has a clear, refillable cartridge.
