Emerald Crabs lifespan?

How long do these guys usually last in the home aquarium? My 2 have both died within the last 2 weeks, I bought them both at the same time like 7 months ago. All my levels seem ok.

Nitrate: 0-10
Nitrite: 0
Calcium: 440

hmm...i will have to buy a test kit for that. Didnt even think to check for that.

I will let ya know, I can stop at the LFS and get a kit tomorrow. I also hope nothing bad happens...

I have one in my tank from last Feb and is still going strong. He has grown to about the size of a quarter (arms included). Pretty much sticks to himself and just picks away at the rocks. He is a RED variety. I have had the green Emerald ones before and they have lived for quite a long time as well.

mine were huge, probably a good 2.5+ inches including arms.

btw, no copper in my tank. So, I dunno what killed them.
