Reefing newb
While I am waiting for my silicone stain remover products to arrive, I'm looking at this single 1" hole in the side of my tank, thinking its not enough flow.. I am considering AT LEAST a second 1" for the staggered overflow box.. We definitly want a reef aquarium, so flow is high priority, and I'd like some opinions on bulkhead/hole size on an 85 gallon reef for proper flow.. I was thinking since I have to drill a second hole as it is, if I should drill at 2" and reduce if needed, better than having to buy a second diamond bit..?? Drilling the bottom is not an option, the tank is DIY and the bottom consists of three sheets of glass siliconed together..
