Drill bit for rocks?

A mason bit long enough to make it all the way through the rock will work, or even one that will make it half way and you can drill from both sides

man, sometimes I don't think before I post things on here :)

Makes for more entertainment if you dont:mrgreen:

As for drilling rocks, you also need a hammer drill to put the masonry bit into. A normal drill will work, but it will take forever and possible ruin the bit. Also, get some acrylic rod. You dont need to go all the way through, I would say about 1/4 to 1/2 way through would work.

Ok thanks guys.
The rocks I'm messing with are small enough I think to be epoxied together so I'm gonna go that route instead.

+1 use a masonry bit, the rock actually drilsl really easy as long as it's good porous rock, don't let the drill spin too fast because the rock will just break...don't ask how I know, I just do...
