Dosing through Replenish ATO Water

I haven't tried putting calcium or Alk supplements in my ATO reservoir but it would seem this method would not work well where you have unpredictable evaporation rates. The difference between my summer and winter evaporation rates is huge. Could varying evaporation rates lead to inaccurate dosing?

yes it could. i think it could also lead to precipitation in the makeup water but that part i am not sure about

I talked to a Kent rep. at our frag swap this weekend about this very subject. He suggested to not do this also . There are too many variables to consider, like you mentioned. Better off sticking with the sump or DT.
