difference in powerheads

What are the differences between tunze and koralia powerheads? I noticed that the tunze's seem to be smaller than say a k3 but what are the differences in the width of the flow? Is one more focused than the other?

Just trying to decide between 2 tunze 6025 or getting 2 k3's. Either way i'm not putting them on a controller.

But if your not planning on using a controller with em,I'd go with the K3s.The flow patterns roughly the same.And I'm not sure about the GPH of the Tunze.But I know the Koralias are a whole lot cheaper which means more money left for corals and such.

The difference is basically size and cost, but you should probably compare the Tunze to a K-4 since they both put out aprox 1200 gph. The Tunze is alot smaller but cost almost 50% more than the K-4. The K-3 only puts out about 850 gph, so it's not a good comparison to the Tunze.

the 6025 does 660gph.

Your right. The 6045 is 1200 gph.
In that case, the Tunze, while alot smaller, cost alot more and has less flow than a K-3. They both have basically the same flow pattern.
