Damn Condy....

Greenman

Reefing newb
Soo I had just purchased a bicolor angelfish and i've only had it for about 24 hours when I watched it swim into a gap in my rock that led directly to my Condy anemone tenticles. Needless to say I reached in ripped the fish from the anemone and yanked the condy out of the tak. The angelfish is still swimming around exploring so im not sure if any damage was done. Do you think he will fare okay?

Honestly, if it was me I would find a nice healthy BTA. IMO, it would fit better in your tank and they are not as aggressive as some of the other species. Just my:twocents:

That's odd that they wouldn't carry the BTA's. My LFS will order something for me if it isn't something they normally carry--- Is that an option? I'm not saying you can't get away with a LTA for a while but they get huge and can take up a lot of real estate as I stated in your show case thread a couple weeks ago.

My LFS is kinda odd with the fish it has.. It took me 2 months to get that bicolor angelfish in. The company they get the fish from basicly just sends them random stock from the looks of things.

Your fish store is capable of ordering any fish they really want. They could just be unwilling to do it. But yeah, their suppliers just may not have it in stock. Ask them to order one for you, and if they won't, tell them thanks, you'll take your business else where. Should change their tune after that. If it's just not in stock, ask them to order one for you when it is. Or, you could always try ordering from LiveAquaria.com. They are usually pretty good.
