corals for sand or rock

How do Iknow what corals to put in the sand and what ones go on the rock? Also, how many corals do you suggest to plant at one tine? How can a coral be "aggresive"? does that mean it grows too quickly into another one? or what?

Most corals are pretty versitile as far as placement goes, but some will do better, thwre are too many corals to name, so I would ask individaully . You can place as many corals as you want at a time. As far as the aggressiveness goes some corals will wage chemical warfare on the other, some have stinging tentacles, an agressice coral that grows fast can be pretty trouble some.

I would check out the coral section on Live Aquaria they give you a real good reference on placement, light and flow requirements, feeding, etc.
