Corals, DUH

I wanna get some opinions on some thing's I'd like to get...so here goes.

What I have:
-Mauve/Green Favia
-Frogspawn - 2 Heads
-Green/Purple Hammer - 2 Heads/1Head
-Zoas - 3 Colonies
-Cinnamon Palys - 3
-White Star Polyps

What I want:
-Purple Monti cap
-Valida Acro
-Bubble
-Green Flourescent Mushroom - Saltwater Aquarium Corals for Marine Reef Aquariums: Green Fluorescent Mushroom
-Ultra Turquoise Maxima Clam - Saltwater Aquarium Inverts for Marine Reef Aquariums: Maxima Clam Ultra, Turquoise - Aquacultured
-Stylophora

The tank is a 5.5 mini-reef and the lighting is a Nova Extreme 2x20 watt T5. I don't have the light yet, but I'm waiting to get anything else until I do get it. The bulbs will be ATI daylight and actinic.

SPS are really sensitive to the chemicals softies put out, so I would either go all softies/LPS or all SPS in such a small tank. But other than that, i think your lighting is fine to keep all of those corals, but i would worry about keeping the water quality high and stable enough for the SPS and clam

So if I cut the mushroom out will the LPS still kill the SPS?

You already have other softies... The zoas, palys and polyps. If you want SPS you should cut all the softies out.

the LPS would be fine in there, Like Hannah said though my worry would be keeping the water conditions high enough for SPS in that size tank.. Smaller tanks the condtions can change quickly..
